The return of Ashutosh Rana to Bollywood via “Dhadak” is a news

No one remembers when they had seen actor Ashutosh Rana in his last movie. Now, he will soon be seen sharing his acting acumen with debut artists Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter in the upcoming film “Dhadak”.

Though not much has been revealed about Ashutosh’s role in the film, the insider story is that he is playing the role of the father of Janhvi, who is depicted as a narrow-minded landlord in the movie.

Ashutosh has clarified that his character in the “Dhadak” is to his choice and that it will be loved by the audience.

He said that his relations with Karan Johar, Shashank dandy, Janhvi and Ishaan have been wonderful.

When you’re working with actors like young Janhvi and Ishaan, you need to be a little match to them. They have shown that age hardly matters, he told a scribe.

Ashutosh’s working a second time with Shashank Khaitan in a movie. He played a little part of the director’s Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, starring Varun and Alia.

“Dhadak” is Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter’s launch pad into Bollywood, and is based on Marathi film “Sairat”.

Shot in Rajasthan which tracks the love story of Parthavi and Madhur, will be released nationally on July 20.

Ashutosh Rana hails from Gadarwara district in Narsinghpur, Madhya Pradesh. He used to play the role of Ravana in the Ramleela in his childhood.

Rana joined the National School of Drama, to study acting.

Ashutosh Rana’s spouse Renuka Neekhra is also a Bollywood actress. He entered the entertainment world with the television serial ‘Swabhimaan’. He also acted in serials like Farz, Sazish, Jets. He also anchored the TV show, Baazi Kiski.

Rana hosted Sarkaar Ki Duniya– a reality show on a channel.

He became a well-known name in Indian Cinema after his movie “Dushman’, where he played a psychopathic killer.
