‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, the popular television show on Sony TV has achieved a huge success. The show has entertained the viewers with its 2500-odd episodes till now. It has become one of the most viewed and telecasted series of Indian TV. in fact it is on the 5th rank of serials in terms of episodes.
Taarak Mehta is one of the top comedy shows in the country. Only two serials are listed which are above the show in the series of the longest telecast, in Hindi. These are ‘Yeah Rishta Kya Kahlata Hai’ and ‘Saavdhan India’.

Dilip Joshi who plays Jethalal was seen with Ghanashyam Nayak, who is acting as Nattu Kaka on the show.
In the latest episode, Jethalal is seen flying off to Senorika islands. His trip is sponsored by a company which wants him to be present at their exhibition. It is known as Tony Mony company.
The trip of Jetha Lal came as a surprise to everyone in the Gokuldham society. That is because no one had any inkling about it earlier. Jethalal just informed them about it at the end minute. Later, it found out that Jethalal himself had forgotten it himself until the company’s receptionist reminded him about it.
While Jethalal’s wife Daya, a role which is being played by actress Disha Vakani is on a maternity break now, the show is there to enjoy its popularity amongst the cross-section of the society.
