A criminal psychologist Kate Fuller is given the mandate to probe the murder of a man. It was seen as a weird case where the man has been found to strangle in his sleep by his wife. It looked that the only witness is their eight-year-old daughter, Sophie.
Kate digs into the mystery of an ancient demon, who was feared to kill people in their sleep. She experiences the replica of symptoms. It seems that all the victims and spirals had gone through a chilling nightmare to save herself and Sophie before she dares to fall asleep again.
It is said that she marks you first, then kills you, that is how the trailer has been launched for a horror film, i.e. Mara.

Mara is directed by a comparatively new filmmaker Clive Tonge. She had her directorial debut after a number of short films.
Kurylenko had also acted in Terrence Malick’s To the Wonder, which was shot in autumn-time 2010 in Oklahoma. She also acted in Oblivion– a science fiction film with star casts of Tom Cruise. It was directed by Joseph Kosinski. Kurylenko played the role of Alice Fournier who is the main attraction of the spy thriller, November Man.
Kurylenko had also starred in a historical drama film later, in 2014. She worked with The Water Diviner alongside Russell Crowe, Jacqueline McKenzie and Jai Courtney.
The screenplay for the movie is penned by Jonathan Frank. The final date of the release is yet to be finalized.
